All these builds deal physical damage, because having the same damage type is preferred. Elves make good rangers/necros due to their flesh sacrifice skill which creates a pool of blood at their feet. It contributes in early game, then sees a large power spike once you gain access to multiple infusions (buffs).įane is a good choice for spellcasters due to his unique skill which synergizes with apotheosis and skin graft in late-game. Summoner is very versatile because it provides both physical and magic damage based on what surface the incarnate is summoned on. Necro is extremely bursty and will be relatively weak early to mid-game due to lack of spells. Ranger is quite solid throughout and has the most consistent damage. This means you can allocate some to gain access to buffs, cleanse, cc etc if preferred. Pure melee builds are extremely hard to screw up and don’t use that many skill points. OR generic summoner (int/pyro 2+scoundrel 2+necro 2+hydro 2+summoning) with blood rain spell. OR Fane/elf crit-build necromancer (int/necro 3+hydro 3+5 poly+warfare) with apotheosis and skin graft spells, and elemental affinity and savage sortilege talents Simplest builds that come to mind are generic 2 handed warrior (str/warfare+preferred utility like geo 2, hydro 2, scoundrel 2, huntsman 2)Īnd elven ranger (fin/huntsman+scoundrel+warfare) with elemental arrows skill and elemental ranger talent If you’re playing classic difficulty, pretty much any build will be strong as long as you don’t waste points in the “weapon skills.” And even if you do, the builds would still be workable.
